My name is Jeff Putz, and I'm a nerd.
Or perhaps a geek, if you prefer. When I was in high school, this was something you
would never admit or own up to, but times sure have changed. Being a nerd these days can bring you fame and fortune, where
the heroes of our economy are the people who get the technical and sciencey stuff
that everyone else doesn't get.
Those of us who get it don't just do geeky things for a living. For us, it's a lifestyle
filled with gadgets, computers, music no one else listens to and diets no normal
human would adhere to. We consume this stuff much like an addict does crack, only
without all of that nasty rehab, chance of death and the like. The stuff we consume
stands only to make us better at what we do, and happier in life.
My goal with this blog is simple: Write about the stuff that gets me all hot and
bothered. There has never been a better time to be a nerd. Feel free to contact
