I fired up my desktop computer last night, the one that has been perpetually built for the last six or seven years, and the neon tubes didn't fire up brightly. The cool blue glow of my office was gone.

Not that most people even see the inside of my home, but now that you can buy a computer with this vanity junk already inside, does that mean it's not cool anymore? Does it help or hurt your geek cred?

That again Athlon XP sure does want to be replaced by a Mac Pro, I can feel it.
